But I had to investigate, being the curious little chap that I am. so off I trotted towards the sound and I saw the most amazing thing! A massive indoor pool, with all sorts of waterslide things and plants and hundreds of people splashing about on the waterslides looking as if they were having such fun!
I went out and I couldn´t resist it. I just had to try it, just one slide before I left. So I had to climb all these stairs and wait in a queue. Hmm, I thought, it had better be worth the wait, a dog of my social standing shouldn´t have to queue
But I did. Of course. And then it was my turn. I took one look at this tunnel like entrance and suddenly I was scared. Not as bad as my mate Mikkel, he HATES water and he would have gone as fast as possible in the other direction. But I couldn´t do that even if I´d wanted to as there were about 10 squillion people behind me. They started to grumble and mutter a bit....so I did it. I went and jumped in this little tunnel. I started going faster and faster, it felt like a thousand miles an hour!
Round and round I went, twisting and turning and then suddenly I came out into daylight and there was an almighty SPLASH! as I landed in the pool.
Wow! What a trip! I got out and my little legs were like jelly. Then people started laughing and I realised I´d lost my trunks somewhere along the way!
Just then they landed in the pool too. Hmm, maybe not made for me then. But I had to have another go! In fact I had so many goes, because being small and having 4 legs makes me faster than the others at climbing all those steps. And I´m quite good at tripping up anyone who gets in my way.
But suddenly I got a familiar scent...I looked around...and there she was! MUM!
So THAT´S where she´d been all this time. I didn´t want her to see me, you understand, especially as I´m sure I was far better at this waterslide malarky than her, I didn´t want to make her feel silly. Which I suspect she would, mainly because she was the only ´adult´ waiting for her turn amongst hundreds of kids
So then I got ready to say Bye-De-Bye to Butlins!
Bye-De-Bye for now!
