Hello everyone!
Well, right now I´m hiding under the table from my mum, she´s in a right old paddy tonight
Why? She had a BAD day...huh.... we all have bad days. I have bad days, like when I don´t get any ham or sausages, but I don´t go around like a thundercloud. Grumpy old bat.....see, I can say that while I´m hiding under the table
She went to London and had one or two mishaps. She missed the train home, then the next one developed a techincal fault, so left very late, Then because it was late it got stuck behind Thomas the Tank Engine or some little train that was going VERY slow. Then there was a cow stuck on the line! Well it cant have been mum, she was stuck inside the train
She just had to get to the post office when she got home to post a parcel that HAD to go tonight. I don´t kow why it was so urgent....unless it was a parcel of ham for me!
But I don´t think it was.
Anyway, then she had to drive back from the station and got stuck in traffic. Then she got to the post office and got stuck in a queue. Then the mail man came in to collect all the parcels from the post office and didn´t wait for hers. Then she had to pay nearly £10 to post it! By the time she got home she was in a real strop. Dad had got home earlier but hadn´t done any washing up or tidied anything, his clothes and work stuff was all over the place and apparently my dog hairs were all over the rug and he hadn´t hoovered that either. She looked at me as if to say ´And? Why didn´t YOU do it!´
Well, I mean, what´s wrong with a few dog hairs??
So then she starts banging the plates and things round the sink and hauling the hoover around....and I HATE that so I barked...lots....and I got told off!
So dad is now all glum. And me? I´m hiding under the table and I won´t come out for anything....except some ham. Or a sausage. Just in case she tells me to go and redecorate the conservatory or paint the dining room. Wish me luck everyone! from Nervous Wally X
