Devouring Dassie At Cape Town Airport…

You’ve probably been wondering what happened to the Dassie in South Africa. I don’t know, if I should tell you….. Ahh what the heck. He was asking for it, and I just can’t keep it in any longer.

You remember that fat hamster that always elbowed his way in everywhere we went???? I ate him! Right tasty too. I had my eye on the vermin infested critter all the time, but I was just waiting for an opportune moment. It finally came. As we were about to board the plane to go back to Europe, the horrid rat thing embraced my wife Pickle to say good bye!!! Can you believe it?! I was livid with rage and the next second he was right between my lips. I broke his neck and then I ate him. Quite tasty too. I can recommend a Dassie diet – consisting of Dassie that is…

Anyway, it made my smirk all the way home. Seeing the surprised look on his ratty little face. I actually think he fancied himself as a dog. As if a fat hamster would ever come close to a doggys shoulder – not even on a Dachs!!!

Pleeeeeeeease don’t tell my Mum. She won’t find it funny. Not one bit. And as you know, my Mum is very very scary. Brrrrhhhhh. Scares me just thinking about it!

She was happy to have me back home though. Tons of kissing and spoiling. She really me.

The little rat deserved it, especially after slobbering pickle!!!

Er, I hate to tell you this mate..but I took a closer look at that picture of me and Absy on the ship...and there´s one in the corner laughing! And he´s been spotted around the ship. So the thing is, is the one you ate the one who followed us all week, or has there been more than one all the time? Maybe they breed like, um, hamsters! Fancy him trying it on with Pickle! well, I tried several kind of rodents - I must say, I prefer my meat already prepared for a meal: cleaned, cut and even cooked and spicy
But, of course, I realize, you didn´t intend to eat that hamster as a regular meal...

You are good!! I think Ratty would just tremble when he sees you in action! I do believe that a Dassie I don´t know which one stowed away on Abby & Wallys cruise......????? I know that they do breed at an alarming rate and Absy was quite fond of one little Dassie........ he kept sneaking into the photos of the cruise!!!
My Mom is so SPOILING me... I think I must go away again!!!!!lol
