Well...I´ve got my very first fever...ad I hate it coz it makes moomee worry to much and I find it hard to breathe. It all started when I made poopy in the rain. It was raining a bit hard and then I just had to go pee and then i had this urge to contribute to the fertilization of our backyard. Mom kept telling me make it quick but I took my time coz the rain felt soo good coz it was cool. Mommee gave me a hard rubdown after I did my thing. Then 2 days before, we decided to attend a party of an uncle of mine who lived 3 1/2 hours away from our home and decided to take the public transport coz we were to spend the night at my uncles place and they didn´t have a parking area. On the way home it began to rain ad we had to transfer to another public transport that was en route to our home and it began raining hard. Even though moom shielded me rom the rain I still got wet. Upon arrivig home, moom gave me the rubdown again and tucked me in snugly beside her when it was time or bed. This morning when mommee woke up ad petted me, she oticed that I was a little hotter than my normal "hotness" hehehe. She then told dadoo that I was running a fever and that we should go to the vet. At first moom thought that it was just my early morning routine (yawn, stretch and sleep some more) but then lunch came and then I wouldn´t eat my meal that moom prepared. So it was time to get me to see my vet. They were right, I´m running a fever at 39.5 degrees. I got jabbed again by that mean ol husband (vet too) of my vet TWICE (one at my scruff and one at my butt) then I was prescribed with 2 types of antibiotics. Oe pill and the other was an oral dextrose to compensate for my lack of appettite. Funny thing is, even though I´ve got the fever, I still managed to gain half a pound more to my 10 pounds in just a week!!! I hope I get better coz I don;t want to see moom´s worried face ever again.
