Today is going to be difficult to deal with, my Little Man. Not only is it your dad´s birthday, but you have been in Rainbow Bridge for a whole year now.
I still think about you everyday, and having to pass the spot where you died everyday is still painful. But I am thankful, that although your life was short, you lived it to the full. You were the funniest, loving little dog ever, and I am so glad I had you in my life, even though it wasnt for very long.
Daddy fixed the little waterfall at your resting place. It´s comforting to sit up in that corner of the garden and listen to the trickle of the water. I still miss you Casper, and I think I always will.
Rest in peace my Baby Boy, and I´ll see you in heaven, Angel.

RIP Casper.
We´ll light a candle for you later, like we do sometimes for Taz and some of our other departed friends.

I hope your Mum will be ok today, anniversarys can be so tough. Cry all you need and try to think of the happy memories that will also make you smile.

Thanks Jenny. The day went better than I thought. I said a prayer for him, at his little resting place in the garden, then we took Jake for a really long walk on the beach. The beach was one of Casper´s favourite places to be, so it seemed fitting, if you know what I mean.

I understand your pain and feel for you.. losing a dog is like losing a part of yourself really because they know us so well and love us unconditionally. They bring to our lives so much, and we are truly the lucky ones that we have been touched. I don´t believe that they are called "dog" just because, but because they are special and made in his image.. Thank god for that!!!
