This was my life until August 2003 and I would like to share it with you.
I was born sometime in 1998 and my owner (who was Costas girlfriend at that time) left me with him when they broke up. I was almost 4 months old. He raised me in an excellent way and I was very happy living with him. I spent all day with him, at home, at his work… everywhere. I was aloud to go out alone and take long walks in the neighborhood and flirting with almost all the females of my size and not only of my size. But I didn’t like the males of bigger size of mine. I was barking at them a lot. That was not very wise of my side, as because of my size it was easy for them to attack me. Anyway, life was like that and was lovely no matter what. Then, sometime in 2000, my dad met Maria and at the beginning I was very jealous to see them kissing and hugging etc, etc. Later when I got used to her I liked her a lot. I was glad that they were together and a few months later they got married.
After that my life changed. I was living with both of them and we were visiting a lot their summer house full of flowers and trees and many-many cats….. Woof, woof, no cat was aloud to cross our yard.
One night, it was Easter and we are at summer house. I was left alone. Suddenly firecrackers started……. I hate firecrackers and thunders and generally sudden and loud sounds. I got scared to death. I run away like crazy and wondered around for almost 5 hours. And then my feet started to bleed, I was not used to walk on rocks and soil ground for so long. I got hungry and tired and I decided to return home.
Everybody was very happy to see me back…. All of them remained awake waiting for me to return…..When I showed up……….. What a relief………….
And life was going on and I was the happiest dog in the world.
And then in the summer of 2003 I was again at their summer house with Maria’s parents…. They loved me so much that they allowed me to sit on their sofa even when I was really wet, when it was raining, lightning and thundering………… and I was so scared…….
Suddenly in the middle of the night firecrackers started again and again……………. I run away…………………. I never returned home………….
