About me

One day in 1981 I saw Julie in one of our local animal shelters: She was sitting in the corner of her kennel, I looked into her sad eyes, and I saw that her beautiful red hair was matted and her long ears were totally neglected.
I took her for a walk, as I often did with dogs from the shelter, but after that I took her home with me, gave her a bath and brushed and cut parts of her hair....and didn´t take her back to the animal shelter any more.
From this day on ´Julie´ lived with us as a member of the family.
None of us could imagine life without Julie any longer.

What makes me special

Julie bonded instantly and deeply with her new family. She seemed to want to please as much as possible to make sure she is never homeless again. She was an exceptionally affectionate dog and an extremely loyal companion.
Julie will always be in our hearts.
