About me
Puff was born May 5, 1999 with her sister Sad Eyez ( d July 24, 2007). She is half Husky and half Labrador. Puff is my last remaining dog from the 20th century (exception is Blondie, who used to belong to a friend of mine who passed away).
In 2000 Puff and her mom ran away. I was so scared they´d get hit by a car. As it turned out Poppy came back that night all bloody. I took her to the vet and she survived. Unfortunately Puff was not with her. I thought Puff was killed in the same accident. I looked everywhere for Puff. I looked on the freeways and streets. I went to every animal shelter for miles and the Humane Society. No sign of Puff. I posted fliers of her all over the neighborhood with her picture. After three days I had no success and went to the local newspaper and put in a lost dog ad. When I came home from the newspaper there was Puff - with her head stuck between the gate and the fence! She got stuck trying to get in. I was so happy to see her and opened the gate carefully and she ran in. Puff has never tried to run away again.
Update:
My baby Puff passed away on November 24, 2008.
