Dog of the Week (21.April 2008 - 27.April 2008)

Introduction
Please also see - www.snowdropthemaltese.com

I was born in Scotland, after my predecessor, Mistletoe had sadly died just before her 21st birthday, and exactly sixty two days before I was born ! I had been kept in a cage most of the time by my previous owner, as they wanted to put me into shows, and I did not like it one little bit. As soon as I got home with my new Mummy & Daddy, I was soon to learn that I would never be put into a cage again ! I love to travel, and have been to France several times, and also Belgium and Holland. I have written a little story called The Travels & Adventures of Snowdrop the Maltese - and this can be read at www.snowdropthemaltese.com If you look at it, I would be very pleased if you would please sign our guest book on the last page, my Mummy has made it all look very pretty with a photobook at the end which plays nice music too ! You can read about Mistletoe at www.unitedcats.com/cat/MistletoeBates

What is your greatest achievement?
21.04.08 - Well, I suppose being Dog of the Week, but I am not too sure, as I am still in shock !

Apart from that, I think it must be bringing so much happiness and joy to all the people who care for me, and I am very grateful.

Post Script :-

27.04.08 - It is now nearing an end to me being Dog of the Week, and I have enjoyed it very much. My Mummy spent as much time as she could, helping me to thank all our friends for their kind remarks, and congratulatory comments.

In addition, I have sent comments to as many new Members as possible, to make them feel welcome, and helped some of them out, with the little rainbow bridge, and a few other problems that they were having getting started.

Thank you all so very much for your support, and kindness.

It will not be forgotten.

With love, from Snowdrop x (and Morag too !)

Who is the most important person in your life and why?
That must be my human Mummy, we have a very special relationship, very close and caring, and we can communicate ever so successfully.

I think that because I was ill for a long time, has bonded us even more than normal, and has kept us as a very close little family unit, together with my Daddy too.

What is your biggest passion.
That has to be going on holiday, and travelling. Also visiting my human friends.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would like to be able to speak.

What is the most funny thing ever to happen to you?
When I was in Brugge, in Belgium with my Mummy & Daddy, they took me on a little boat. There were other people there too, and every time we went under the low bridges I ducked my head down, and the humans all thought it was very funny, and were all laughing at me !

I should also mention that I feed my soft toy pet Labrador called Rex. All the humans laugh at me, but I don´t see what is so funny !

What is your best memory?
The day my Mummy and Daddy took me home in the car.

What would you like to wish for all these other doggies and their owners on Uniteddogs?
I would wish that, first of all they have good health.

I would also like to think that they have a good home life, and a nice bed inside the house with their humans, and that they all have a long and happy life together.
