I was treated for my mange (caused by demodex), the vet says that it maybe hereditary and it´s not contagious, so it is alright to play with my family. But my mommy search the net about demodex, she found out that its not inherited, probably the vet is trying to say that it was passed to me by my biological mother after birth. The parasite was transparent so it´s really hard to tell. My skin was scraped to identify what was the cause my my little bumps, hair loss and dandruff. The vet gave me a medicated bath and an injection. I have to do this for 3 more times once a week. So, more injections! I hate it! I´m taking 2 kinds of medicine, one for my immune system and one for my liver. I feel sorry for my mommy because she just resigned from her job and that this treatment is not in the budget. But she has a new one she´ll probably start late this april or first thing on may. I´m happy that she have a new job that she will like not like the old one where she always nags about how she hates it. I pray that I´ll get better soon. By the way, the vet says that I´ll be often sleeping for 2 to 3 days after every treatment. My mommy don´t know how to let me take a tablet so the vet demonstrated it to her! (hahaha)
