About me

I found kushkush 10 minutes away from my house 6 years ago near the city garden (center) . i walked home with a friend of mine - and we saw him - he looked sick,he looked into my eyes - i came to check if he is ok (i refuse to call animals by IT),he couldnt move,we went to bring him water and he cried with pain... could`nt stand up or move.. we carried him to the vet with the help of 6 more good hearted people and he was suppose to stay first with my friend,,, after few days,i toke him since she couldnt take care of him anymore and i managed to convince my paerents that he will stay with us till i find him a good home (still lived at home - my family loves animals also - but after my former dog amigo - my mam didnt want to attach anymore - too painful ..) ...to make long story short,in the end after 2 months with us - it was clear that i cannot even bare the thought that someone else will take care of him..he was insecure and very very shy at first,it toke him more than 6 months to open up again and be happy.. he is loved!!! and he lives like a king now and hes so so gentle and angelic at home with the family - that he trust .. he is abit less patience to people he doesnt know . we also know now that he was brutely abused in his past - and till this day have a scars on his tail from the bad days he was abused - hes tale was broken.... now Kushkush is the happiest dogi ever he still have abit of issues from his past and his fur will never be as healthy as avrage samoyed.. and he has abit of an ear problem.. but we did and do everything we can . on December 2006 all of a sudden it was noticed that kuhskush has a lump on his pretty head and awful smell from his mouth. the vet wasn`t happy to see that and it was clear that he has something in his mouth.in his jaw. she said that a biopsy must be taken.after few weeks we were told that those pieces are actually seem to be cancerous and they must be taken out and analyzed... the operation day arrived,we were so so so so afraid from the full anesthesia but the vet promised he will be all right and there is no place for delay.. kushkush passed that operation easily and after 1.5 hours woke up from anestassia...the tumor in his head was removed completely ,the one in his jaw was too deep to be completely removed ,,, 3 horrible long weeks of waiting for the results and something growing in kushkush`s mouth. and than we got the horrible shocking news - he has the worst kind of skin cancer, very very violent one that is spreading rapidly ... and since he has issues with his kidneys - there is actually no treatment,the vet said 3 months to 8 months to live. we couldn`t believe it ,we were devastated and shocked.. we asked for more options.we couldn`t believe this is it ... our lovable vet directed us to a very known dog oncologist in the Netherlands. and after a visit at his clinic 3 days after the bad bad bad news started to sink in. he also toke biopsy from kushkush and it seems that the cancer got already into his limps and that there are probably tumors already in his body... he could try and remove half of his jaw with the nasty tumor but it doesn`t mean it will remove it completely and its a very unpleasant surgery with alot of pain and its never sure.chemo is not given in the Netherlands,radiation is given in Germany but not inside the mouth.so the only thing we can do is give him pain killers and antibiotics - every few weeks and not much because his kidneys will fail completely .. with that shocking news we came back crying and devastated.. the oncologist said 2.5 months to live... kushkush acted as normal.he was happy as always and running after bunnies and sniffing ...we decided that every day from now on will be a special special day for him ,,, hoping that the horrible disease wont take him so fast during that time we moved to Germany and we got our own backyard - heaven for kuskush . after few weeks he started to show signs of discomfort,the tumor in his mouth got bigger and 2 more big tumors found on his neck and back.. he started getting so weak. he stopped barking at all,he stopped howling,he stopped dancing around when hes going for a walk ... every week a check at the vet and at one point last month she said - he lost his spark... that it seems that the disease completely getting over him.he became weak,less energetic and all of a sudden he looked so old : ( she said we can give him to eat anything he wants since he enjoys eating (till now we kept strict diet because his kidneys) and from that moment on he started taking daily pain killers and antibiotics.. he also got medicine against nausea . 5 different medicine every day.6 times a day. 2 weeks ago he didn`t wanna eat anymore anything besides chicken and cookies. he lost weight. a week ago he refused to eat at all. nothing.he became so weak,he couldn`t stand on his legs. last few days i still had hope he will get better and fed him with serange - food for sick dogs... and he didn`t like it..but at least something came inside his precious body .. and few hours puking in the last days he didn`t went outside for a walk,when ever he did he fall . he couldn`t sleep,he was so restless and only his beautiful eyes were open - asking us to help him .. the last day we carried him outside to the garden and picked him back home. we had to let him go while he still have a little bit of his dignity. the vet already said its time.. to let him go in peace,with out anymore suffering .. to let him sleep Rest in Peace our dearest beloved white angel we love you kushkush and always will you will always be in our heart and thoughts and we will always protect you
