Simpson got a hotspot on his rump a few days ago, and he gets to go to the vet to get it shaved and treated. He´ll probably get an Elizabethan Collar so he won´t lick it.

About me

Hey everyone! I´m Simpson, one of the bestest golden retrievers in the world! My family adopted me on December 24, 2004, from the Golden Retriever Rescue of Greater Los Angeles. I was really skinny and neglected, and I was a bit timid. But now, my family has helped me overcome some fears, but I still don´t really like the vacuum, stuff falling, or when people sweep the floor. My family thinks I was maybe beaten with a stick in my past =(

Anyhow, my life is SO much better now, I get long belly rubs, brushing everyday, and every now and then a trip to the dog park or the arroyo seco for a hike/swim.
