About me

R.I.P. I lived from a beautiful little puppy in 2004 and died young in a vet in 2006.
I was very loving and suddenly when I lifted my leg up to wee, nothing came out. I tried and tried but I just got full of liquid.
I was taken to the vet. I had a kidney disease. After 2 nights, it looked like I was getting better. I had frequent visits from my loving and caring owners. But after the 3rd day, things went downhill again. There was a very small chance of me surviving if I was kept in there for a few more weeks. My poor owners didnt want to put me to sleep. But there were 3 important reasons:
1) It cost a lot to stay at night
2) It wasn´t a big chance
and
3) They didnt want me in pain for any longer.
So one afternoon, my owners Dad rang her Mum on a nearby phone. It was then decided what was to happen. My owner Ella didnt stop crying for a long time. She even gets tears in her eyes when she thinks about me. I remember a main reason why she was upset:
When her and her father left the vet, she only scratched me behind the ears, thinking she would see me again soon. But it was just 10 minutes after that when she knew that pitiful scratch was the last thing she´d ever do to me. no hug. no kiss.
But I didn´t mind. I knew I´d see her again tomorrow. Before sleep-time, I was put in a special room. The vet put a needle in me and I peacefully slept.
