I really like reading questionaires of the dogs who were awarded A Dog of the Week. But I´m missing one thing- I´d like to read the nominations- the thoughts why people chose this dog. I think it would be nice to see it, or not?

yeah that sounds a good idea. ive only 1 problem with dotw . i would prefer it if a dog got it only once , dont get me wrong i just noticed that sometimes its the same dogs and i thought it would be fairer to give all dogs a chance instead of the same dogs over and over .

Dogs that have already been Dog of the Week, the Recommend for Dog of the Week button fades in colour and becomes inactive. So you should not be able to vote the same dog for Dog of the Week twice

i wasn´t aware of that Sharon but it would make it fairforall dogs. I know there are some fabulous dogs on the site..

I wouldn´t mind seeing some of the nominations but say for example it was a dog I´d personally nominated then I´d still like my name to remain anonymous. I vote dogs for many numerous reasons and although I don´t mind my reason for voting being seen I do not want anyone seeing it came from me therefore seeing nominations is fine but only if the person doing the nominating remains private. If the member/user became visible then I am sorry but I would stop nominating a DOTW.
