well, i really dont know what happened because i was cleaning outside the room, but when i got back, they told me that my dad carried spike but spike fell... and now he is limping when he walks... we are so worried because there might be some internal injuries... there are no open vet clinics right now here because its already 10:30 pm....what can we do..

I´m so sorry to hear that Anyway, I think it is best that you observe him tonight then bring him to the vet tomorrow as soon as the vet open!! Don´t be so worry just accompany him tonight and don´t let him walk around too much!!

hi , i had a thread called" ive a decision too hard for me to make." when prince hurt himself, there were a few helpful ideas in it . from what happened to prince i would suggest you make spike comfortable , gently press around his legs and back to see where the discomfort is. i would keep him under watchful eye to see if he worsens , in the morning if theres no improvement go straight to vet . so sorry to hear this its a hard thing to go thru, you feel so useless our thoughts are with you.

Give spike a comfortable place to sleep. Don´t touch the part where spike hurts. Bring spike to the vet as soon as the clinic opens. The vet will determine the extent of the injury. An xray might be required to find out if there are fractures. If there is non the vet would probably prescribe medicines to ease the pain. It will take time to heal a sprain. Less activity will do Spike good.

Oh I feel bad for Spike... try to get him to the Makati Dog and Cat Hospital. I know they´re open 24hours. It´s near the gate entrance of Bel Air, and near Ateneo Law School and Rockwell. You can give them a call at 896 6386. Hope he feels better.

hi everyone..thank you so much for the messages, advice and well wishes.. thank you for the advice to keep him calm and comfortable, we just let him sleep on the bed and made him comfortable, we didnt touch hisleg so we wont injure it further... this morning we took him to the vet as soon as possible, good news is, its just a sprain and no internal injuries..thank God. he was just injected with painkillers and they told us to not let him stress the leg too much..
