The State Attorney has been sent the letter associated with this petition, he has been updated on the number of signatures, and he has been provided a link to this petition. Please continue to sign, since charges have still not yet been filed against the shooter!!!

On May 19th 2008, 2 husky dogs were reportedly shot by a man named Christopher Comins in Orange County Florida. The 2 dogs, Raley and Hoochie, were shot multiple times in the neck, back, and eye, right in front of their owner and witnesses while the dogs´ owner was retrieving them. Somehow, they managed to survive. One was even shot in the eye, and will likely have its eye removed. A video recording by a witness shows the dogs being shot as one was trying to run away, and the other was just sitting there. The video showed the dogs did not pose any threat to the shooter or the cattle. No charges were filed against Comins.

The purpose of this petition is to ask the State Attorney to file felony animal cruelty charges against the reported shooter in this case and conduct a thorough investigation. Animal cruelty is a crime, and should not be tolerated in the State of Florida. Please sign this petition to show your support.

I can not believe what I just saw, I signed the petition and sent it to everyone in my mailbox. I hope this person is made to pay for what he did, those poor dogs.

How can any person with a properly functional brain do such a monster dead. If he can do something like this what stops him from shooting a child, old person or any one for that matter. Hopefully this will not just disappear out of lack of interest, but at least we know that he will have to deal with our Creator one day. It is the dead of a monster! May his dreams haunt him for the rest of his life.

I hate those trigger-happy people! There was no reason to shoot those dogs.

Just a thought there: There was so many people standing by - I can understand nobody stepping in while he shot those dogs. You´ll never know how mental someone is. But afterwards, when that man with the guns walks away, nobody runs to see if they can help the dog owner with the Husky that´s down..... I think I would have been up there to see if I could have helped.

They should lock that animal(human he isn´t) away for the rest of his life! I am so glad that you brought this to our attention as i went and signed the petition. This world is going to poo in a hand bag and if he is aloud to shoot a dog like those two or any animal then look out he will move up to humans then what let him walk. I also think it was great that the people filmed the hole thing!!! I did wonder why everyone didn´t help the man get his dogs right away and get them to the vet!!! GOD BLESS the people that filmed it as that is evidence to help convict the man!! Their is nothing in this world that can replace a persons loved ones weather it´s a dog , cat, animal, or human!!!

Guys, before you watch the video make sure that you can handle it. Its just unbelievable. The dog was already running away but he still shot it, that´s crazy! Nobody else tried to stop this man from shooting the dogs that´s because they know this man is dangerous and will shoot people just like what he did to those poor dogs.

I signed the petition! I cant believe how cruel and inhumane people are! What the heck, the dogs werent even bothering him!!! I take comfort though in knowing that when his judgement day comes God will send him to burn in Hell for eternity likehe deserves for harming Gods innocent precious animals like that.

I can NOT believe they did not put this guy in jail!! If he shot two dogs who were doing NOTHING instead of trying to catch the dogs and help them find there owner, what makes anyone say he won´t go and shoot a person!!! I can understand if the animals were acting wild and attacking the cattle, but these dogs were not doing ANYTHING!! They werent even BY THE COWS!! It makes me upset and sick to think people actually could do this!!
