this could have been anyones dog, and any breed, its a terrible to think that someone can do this and they might get away with it.

my heart go out for this family they lost a loving member of their family and its a horrible murder in my opinion, just because its a dog doesnt mean its not murder

You say it could have been any breed....but I´m afraid that stafford- and pitowners are much more likely to be the victim of these useless crimes than other owners. In Belgium, a very tiny country, two staffs were killed by the police in their own yards in just a few months time...

THE pits are more likely because of the bad rap they have, i found another story about a therapy dog, a pit also that was poisoned in her own yard because she is a pit, it terrifies me.i have a pit and she is a wonderful little girl

but my brother in law told me about in detroit they had someone going around killing dalmations in his neighborhood, so its not just pits, some people are just cruel like that

I cried so hard so hard I wish i could have the power to help stop that kind of things, i have a student that he told me that he had a dog and that he was kill just like that, for him was just money not a pet, i think they don`t have concience about what are they doing or it is just evil, hope someday we can do something and stop all this bad people

I´m so sorry for Gage and his family. I´ve never met a bully breed I didn´t like but regardless of the breed no dog should have to die like this. There are ways to "legally" take action if a dog is a true problem and it is unforgivable what this person did to Gage and his family. Gage will be waiting at the bridge for his family. My heart cries for them.

I cannot stop crying after reading about Gage and seeing the way he was murdered. Totally premeditated. That neighbor cannot just be simply walking around carrying a shotgun, suddenly saw Gage and shot him. He planned it. My heart goes out to this family. Let´s not people like Mr. Stanfill get away with murder.....it can happen to any UD doggie.

I actually wont watch the video, because I know it will upset me badly. So, I believe Gage was shot by a neighbour? I cant believe that things like that are still happening in our so called "civilised society". It breaks my heart. I´ll sign the petition.

I feel your pain. I lost my cat to some mindless idiot who thought it was cool or to kill in the name of fictitious being. I will never forget how I found Tux. I signed the petition and I hope justice will be severed for your family but mostly for Gage.
